Offerings are the heart of the catalog — every experience, class or service someone can book. Everything about how a booking behaves starts here, and it's organised into six tabs across the top of the editor: Details · Booking rules · Staff · Intake · Times · Add-ons. One Save button covers the whole offering — you can edit across tabs and save once.
Find it: Catalog → Offerings.
Column 2 — Catalog
The list of everything you sell, with a filter across the top — All, or just your Experience, Class or Service items. New offering starts a fresh one (finish naming it before starting another — the Counter will nudge you if a draft is still called "New offering").
Column 4 — Preview
A live preview of the offering as the storefront will render it — check the photo crop and the price line before you press Save.
The Details tab
The identity and the sales page:
- Name, Web address (its URL on your site) and Type — Experience, Class or Service.
- Where — In the room, Customer's address, or Online. "Customer's address means you travel — the booking form collects where. Online has no room to fill." Online offerings get a Platform, a Join link ("Only people with a confirmed booking ever see this — it is in their email and on their account page, never on the public site") and an optional Passcode.
- Short summary — "Shown on cards and in the widget" — plus the full Description and Hero image.
- Calendar colour — how its slots appear on the Schedule.
- The detail page sections — an Intro heading, Highlights ("Why book it — one per line"), What's included, What to bring, Good to know, and an FAQ written one per line as "Question | Answer" (e.g. "Does it hurt? | No — most guests find it relaxing."). These are what make the offering's page read like a real sales page instead of a paragraph.
The Booking rules tab
The money and the maths:
- Pricing — the Price, whether it's Charged per person or per booking, and an optional Deposit (the balance is collected on the day).
- What one session is, and what it occupies — Duration and Buffer after, the reset time protected after every booking before the next can start.
- Seats per session, and how many one booking may take — Seats per session, Minimum party and Maximum party.
- Waiver — none, once, or every visit ("Signed in the guest's account after they pay" — see the Legal section for the per-guest flow).
- Members only — "Restrict booking to a plan."
A Times link here jumps to the schedule when what you actually want to change is when it runs.
The Staff tab
"Who does this, and whether the customer gets to choose."
- Let the customer pick a person — "Off — you assign it, and First Available never appears. On — they see who is free at each time and can ask for one of them." This is the barber-shop picker: customers choose their person and see only times that person is genuinely free.
- The staff tick-list decides who can take this offering: "Tick nobody and anyone bookable can take it — which is what you want when everybody does everything." Who's bookable at all is managed on Setup → Staff.
The Intake tab
What the booking form asks, on the last step before payment:
- Contact — whether to ask for a Phone number and Name.
- Name every guest — "Not just the person booking." This is what lets every guest get their own waiver to sign.
- Collect their address — appears when Where is set to Customer's address. Pair it with Only accept bookings in a service area and Cities you serve: "The booking form offers exactly these plus 'Other' — Other is told they're out of area." The address saves to the customer record for next time.
- A custom question — name it ("What to call it"), decide if it's Required; it's shown on the last step, before payment.
The Times tab
The offering's own window onto the Schedule — the same week view and Generate slots flow documented in the Schedule article, scoped to just this offering. Generating from here folds in any unsaved edits first, so the slots always come from the rule you're looking at.
The Add-ons tab
Two kinds of extras, pitched at checkout:
- Booking extras — "Sold only alongside a booking — these never appear in the shop." Photo packages, extra crates, party upgrades.
- Shop stock offered at booking — "Stock you already sell in the shop — offer it at booking too." These are your Merch products; they're collected in store — never shipped when sold this way.
Common jobs
- New service: New offering → Details (name, photo, summary) → Booking rules (price, duration) → Save. It's bookable the moment your storefront shows it.
- Protect reset time: Booking rules → Buffer after = your cleanup or turnover time; the Schedule builds the gap into every slot automatically.
- Go mobile: Details → Where = Customer's address, then Intake → collect the address and list your cities — every booking now arrives with a destination attached.
- Let regulars pick their person: Staff → Let the customer pick a person on. Assignment stays yours when it's off.
