Staff is your roster inside Bookuble — who works here, who customers can book, when each person works, and what each teammate can touch in the Counter.
Find it: Setup → Staff.
Column 2 — Staff
The roster — "choose someone on the left, or add a new one" — plus a pinned Tab permissions row for the whole-team access grid.
The Details tab
The teammate themselves:
- Name, email and Role — Owner, Manager or Staff.
- Active — on the roster or not.
- Bookable — whether customers can pick this person when booking (the staff picker on offerings that allow it). A bookable teammate shows their true availability: booked is booked, free is free, and the engine physically cannot double-book the same person.
- Counter access — whether they can sign into the Counter, with their own PIN. "The shared kiosk PIN is a different thing, set under Kiosk."
The Hours tab
Each person's working week, plus days off. Hours drive their bookable times, so set the week and save it — an unsaved default week is not real hours, and that person will show as unavailable.
Tab permissions
The pinned row in the list opens the access grid — every teammate against every page, three levels each: "Full = edit · View = look but not save · Hidden = gone from their nav." The Dashboard stays for everyone; platform admins are never restricted. The front desk might get Bookings and Customers in Full; the money pages stay yours.
Changes commit with the one Save.
Column 4 — Square Team
The bridge to Square: your Square Team roster alongside, so the people, logins and roles you already run in Square line up with the roster here — nobody maintains two staff lists.
Common jobs
- New hire, front desk: add them, Counter access on, permissions limited to the daily pages. Not bookable unless customers should choose them.
- New stylist: add them, Bookable on, set their real week, Save — their chair opens on the storefront with their actual gaps.
- Holiday: mark the days off; their book closes for those dates and the storefront stops offering them.
