The Counter is your admin — everything about your business on one screen, arranged the same way on every page so you never have to relearn a layout.
The layout
Every page uses the same columns:
- Column 1 — the rail (far left). Your navigation, in seven groups: Essentials, Catalog, Design, Communication, Legal, Setup and Other. Support is pinned at the bottom of the rail so help is one click away from anywhere.
- Column 2 — the list column. The things you can pick from on this page: bookings to open, customers to look at, a filter set, a month. Pick something here and the middle column loads it.
- Column 3 — the working surface. The main column, where you read and edit. Whatever you are working on lives here.
- Column 4 — the detail rail (right). Context for what's selected: actions, a live preview, history, or a plain-English explainer of how the page behaves.
The one Save button
Any page where you can change something has exactly one Save, in the top-right of the working surface.
- Edits update the screen immediately but are not stored until you press Save.
- The button is greyed out when there is nothing to save — if it's lit, you have unsaved changes.
- Leaving with unsaved changes discards them, so make Save the last thing you press.
The one exception is Generate slots on the Schedule page — that's an action with its own preview-then-confirm flow, not an edit.
Getting around fast
- Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open the command bar, then type any page name — "bookings", "gift cards", "waiver" — and press Enter.
- The Walk-in button in the top bar starts a booking for someone standing in front of you, from any page.
- Your avatar (top right) opens your profile; Support at the bottom of the rail opens a ticket without leaving the page you're on.
On a phone
The Counter works on your phone with the same pages. The list and detail columns become sheets that slide up from the bottom — tap a row to open its details, swipe down to close. Nothing is missing; it's just stacked instead of side by side.
If a banner says the Counter has been updated, refresh the tab. Your browser is holding an older version than the one your site is running.
