Forms are how your website asks questions — a consultation request, a party quote, a free trial — with every submission landing as a lead, not an email you might miss. The builder runs across four tabs: Fields · Behaviour · Follow-up · Install.
Find it: Communication → Forms.
Column 2 — Forms
Your forms, each with an Active switch. Build as many as you have questions to ask.
The Fields tab
The form itself:
- Form name, Web address, Headline, Sub-headline and Button label (e.g. "Request consultation").
- Steps — "one page unless you add more — then the form walks through them." Multi-step forms keep long asks feeling short.
- The fields — build them one by one: mark each Required, order them with Move up / Move down, and prune with Remove field / Remove step.
The Behaviour tab
The rules, and what submit does:
- Books into — "the class the free trial reserves." A form can book the submitter straight into an offering — on the calendar, not just in your inbox.
- One per person — "blocks a second free trial on the same email."
- Require sign-in — "they verify their email with a code first — identity comes from the session, so one-per-person actually holds." Turn both on and the free trial polices itself.
- Ask about texts — "adds a tick-box asking to text them. Unticked by default and never required — the engine draws it, so it can't be turned into something that isn't consent."
- What happens on submit — a Success message, or Redirect to a page of yours ("optional — leave blank to show the message").
The Follow-up tab
Who hears about a submission:
- Notify these addresses — your team's inboxes.
- The auto-reply — Email subject and Email body, "sent through Brevo," where {{first_name}} is replaced with theirs.
- Text message — an SMS acknowledgement, "only sent if they opted in" via the Ask-about-texts box.
The Install tab
Where the form lives: its address on your site, and the snippet to Copy if you're placing it on an external page.
Column 4 — Preview
The form as visitors will see it, live while you build.
Where submissions go
Every submission becomes a lead in Essentials → Leads under its form's source — and a free-trial form that books into an offering moves its lead to Booked on its own.
Common jobs
- Free trial funnel: Fields (name, contact) → Behaviour (Books into the trial class, One per person, Require sign-in) → Follow-up (notify the desk). The funnel fills the calendar and polices itself.
- Party quotes: a short multi-step form (date, headcount, occasion, contact) beats a phone-tag week. The lead arrives with everything you need to quote.
