The Blog gives your site a pulse — posts under your own domain that give search engines a reason to keep ranking you, written by you when you want and by the auto-writer when you don't.
Find it: Communication → Blog.
Column 2 — Posts
Every post, drafts and Published, newest first.
Column 3 — the post editor
- Title and Web address — the URL slug; "changing it keeps old links working," so a rename never breaks a shared link.
- Category and Excerpt — "the teaser on the blog page and in link previews."
- Image — the post's cover, picked from your Media library.
- Meta description — "under 160 characters — the search snippet." This is the line Google shows; write it like the ad it is.
- The body, and Publish immediately when it's ready.
Column 4 — Auto-writer
The part that runs without you: the auto-writer drafts on-brand posts about your services, your area and your seasons. With Auto publish on, they go live on their own; off, they queue as drafts for your once-over. Either way the blog stays alive during your busy season — which is exactly when you'd otherwise stop writing.
Common jobs
- Set and forget: turn the auto-writer on and skim its drafts weekly. Edit anything that needs your voice; publish the rest.
- Announce something real: new service, new season, new space — a two-paragraph post with a good photo, published immediately, then linked from social.
- Write for the search you want: a post per common question ("how long does a first tattoo session take?") is the most reliable SEO you can do — the meta description field is where it pays off.
