Email Templates is where every automatic email gets your words. Confirmations, reminders, welcomes — the engine decides when they send (see Setup → Messaging); this page decides what they say.
Find it: Communication → Email Templates.
Column 2 — Emails
The scenarios, one per row — each automatic email your business sends. Pick one to edit it.
Column 3 — the template editor
- Subject — yours, or leave it blank and it "uses the built-in subject."
- The body — edit it directly, or hand the brief to the AI writer, which drafts on-brand copy for the scenario and leaves you to approve or tweak.
- Email preview — the email as the customer will receive it, with your theme and details in place.
One Save per template.
Column 4 — Merge fields
The personalisation tokens — the customer's name, the booking's time, the reference, the balance — listed so you can drop them into subject or body and let every email fill itself in per customer.
Common jobs
- Make the confirmation carry your voice: it's your most-read email. Add the practical lines — parking, what to wear, when to arrive — and every booking stops generating those questions.
- Rewrite fast with AI: describe the tone ("warmer, shorter, mention the free rebooking window") and let the writer draft; keep what's right.
- Check before saving: the preview shows merge fields resolved — a broken token is caught here, not in a customer's inbox.
