Audit Log

Updated 2026-08-26

The Audit Log is the Counter's memory of itself: every change anyone makes — a price edited, a booking cancelled, a permission granted — recorded with who did it, when, and the before and after values.

Find it: Other → Audit Log.

Column 2 — Show

Filters: narrow the log to a person, a kind of change, or a time range.

Column 3 — the log

The entries, newest first. Each one reads as a sentence: who, did what, to which record — expand it for the exact values before and after. "Nothing recorded yet" only on a brand-new account.

Column 4 — About this log

What's recorded and why: accountability without surveillance — the log records changes to the business, and it can't be edited by anyone, including you.

Common jobs

  1. "Who changed this price?" — filter to the offering, read the entry, see the before/after and the name. The conversation that follows is about facts.
  2. Training feedback: a new hire's first week of entries shows exactly where they're unsure — coach from the log, not from guesswork.
  3. Something looks off? The log plus the Transactions ledger together reconstruct any afternoon, minute by minute.
