Waiver

Updated 2026-08-26

Waiver is where your liability document lives and where its rules are set. The engine then does the chasing — links out with the confirmation, signatures collected from each guest's own phone, the kiosk catching stragglers at the door.

Find it: Legal → Waiver.

Column 2 — Waivers

Your waiver documents. Most businesses run one; the Active switch controls what's in force.

Column 3 — your liability document

"Paste or write your liability waiver here." The document is the one guests will read and sign, so keep it in plain language where you can.

The rules around it:

  • Whether signing is required at all — some businesses don't need one; off means the booking flow never mentions it.
  • Sign once, or sign every time — a gym wants one signature kept on file for every visit after; an axe house may want a fresh signature per booking. Pick the mode that matches your insurance.
  • Every guest signs their own — a booking for six needs six signatures, not one organiser's. Each guest gets their own signing link (offerings that name every guest make this seamless), and the booking shows exactly who is outstanding. It flips to fully-signed only when the last signature lands.
  • Guardian consent — under-age guests are routed to a guardian signature in the same flow, and the guardian's consent is kept with the record.

Column 4 — How it works

The flow, explained on the page: waiver links ride the confirmation email, the unsigned are chased automatically after payment, anyone left signs at the Kiosk on arrival, and every signed record files itself into Signed Waivers.

Common jobs

  1. Set up day one: paste your insurer-approved document, set the signing mode, Active on. Done — the machinery is automatic from here.
  2. Group day-of check: open the booking (Essentials → Bookings) — the waiver line lists who's signed. Hand the missing ones the kiosk tablet.
