Bookuble for climbing gyms

Day passes at the door. Memberships on autopilot.

Passes sell always-on, intro classes cap at what your instructors can actually belay, gear rides every checkout, and the waiver is signed once — before their first chalk-up — and kept for every session after.

Runs on your own Square account. 5% of the booking — never of the sales tax.

The shape of it

How a climbing gym runs on Bookuble.

Passes and classes, one calendar

Day passes run always-on from your hours; belay intros and youth squads are capped, scheduled classes. The same engine sells both.

Memberships bill themselves

Monthly membership vaults the card with Square and charges each cycle on its own — retries and flags on failure. No renewal spreadsheet.

Waiver once, climb forever

Sign-once mode keeps the signed waiver on the climber’s record for every visit after. First-timers sign at home or at the kiosk; regulars just walk in.

Sound familiar

The problems this replaces.

The front desk is a waiver processing plant every Saturday morning.

Membership renewals live in a spreadsheet and lapse quietly until someone notices at the door.

Intro classes overbook past what one instructor can safely belay.

Shoe and harness rental revenue depends on whether the desk remembered to ask.

What you get

Built for climbing gyms, not adapted to them.

Sign-once waivers

One signature on the record covers every session. Guardian consent handles the youth squad.

Self-billing memberships

Cards vault with Square and bill each cycle. Failed payments retry and land on your desk flagged.

Capped classes

Belay intros, youth teams and clinics sell to the instructor’s cap and stop.

Gear rental add-ons

Shoes, harnesses and chalk bags at checkout, counted in your Square stock.

Day passes always-on

Entry generates from opening hours — a 6am opener means 6am passes without anyone building slots.

Walk-in kiosk

First visits book, sign and pay at the tablet; the desk stays a desk.

Punch packs

Ten-visit packs sell online and burn down per visit — tracked on the record, not a card in a wallet.

One record per climber

Visits, waiver, membership state and packs on one customer record the whole team can see.

Their side of it

The booking, from the customer’s side.

  1. They buy a pass or join

Day pass, punch pack or membership — priced and sold from the storefront.

  2. They sign once

The waiver lands with the confirmation, signed on their phone before first chalk-up.

  3. Gear joins the checkout

Shoes and harness added in the same charge, stock counted in Square.

  4. They just show up

Every visit after is a name at the desk or a tap at the kiosk — no paper, no queue.

  5. The membership renews itself

The vaulted card bills each cycle; lapses get flagged instead of discovered.

Start from a real storefront

Unity. Yours in about two days.

This is Unity — the template a climbing gym build starts from, running live from the real files. Your build keeps the machinery and swaps in your words, your prices and your brand.

What it costs

5% of the booking. Nothing when it’s quiet.

A gym doing 900 day passes a month at $19 plus 260 members at $75: passes cost 95¢ each, renewals $3.75 — 5% of the sale, never of the tax, only when money moves.

Payments settle in your own Square account at Square’s posted rate — money never routes through us. The 5% is of the sale alone; sales tax is never touched, and every fee is broken out to the cent in your ledger.

Questions owners ask

Before you book the call.

Do regulars sign every time?
No. Waiver-once keeps the signed record on the climber for every visit after. You choose per waiver whether it’s once or per-booking — gyms almost always run once.
How do memberships bill?
The card vaults with Square at signup and charges automatically each cycle. Retries run on failure and the record is flagged so the desk can catch it at the next visit — nothing lapses silently.
Can classes cap per instructor?
Each class caps at the number you set. Intro-to-belay at six means six paid seats — the storefront stops selling at the cap.
Can we sell ten-visit packs?
Packs sell online, attach to the climber’s record and burn down per check-in. No punch cards, no ‘I left it at home’.
What does the site look like?
Unity — the membership-first template built for gyms. Live on your own domain in about two days, or from-scratch in about a week.

See it running your climbing gym.

Pick a time. We’ll show your own storefront — your services, your durations, your paperwork. Nothing to install before the call.
